Mina SteeleCoach Advisor
Mina Steele is a dedicated professional with a background in business management, graduating from Indiana Wesleyan University. She began her dance journey in 1983 at Dayton Christian Center and continued through high school at Colonel White, studying under the direction of Dayton Contemporary Dance Company. Mina has taught in various youth ministries and served as a Director for Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church’s Vision Dance Ministry. She was also a Senior Dancer with Anointed Dance Ministry and Co-Founder of Faith School of Praise Dance. In addition to her commitment to dance, Mina dedicated 7 years to a career in law enforcement.
Mina, a proud mother to her 6 children, is an active member of Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. She has a diverse dance background including training in jazz, ballet, African, and tap. Mina has ministered at various venues and events spreading the joy of liturgical dance. With a heart for ministry and education, Mina graciously continues to empower dancers through her role as a Dance Advisor at Anointed Dance Academy under the direction of Monica Jett-Heflin. |
Danica MaxwellOutreach Coach
Danica Maxwell is a passionate dancer who began her artistic journey at the age of 12 with Vision Dance Ministry, under the guidance of Monica Jett-Heflin and Mina Steele at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. At 15, they joined Anointed Dance Ministries, a traveling dance company led by Sister Phyllis A. Locke-Johnson.
Throughout her dance career, Danica has honed her skills in liturgical dance and focused on the importance of ministry through dance. As she continues to evolve as a coach, Danica remains hungry for growth and eager to inspire youth through ministry. But Danica’s impact extends beyond the stage. As an assistant with Anointed Dance Ministries, she has worked behind the scenes, supporting the team and contributing to their success. Recently, Danica transitioned to a full-time coaching role within the ministry. She is excited to teach how dance can serve as an outlet for personal frustrations while also being a powerful medium to share the gospel. Danica’s passion for both movement and ministry continues to inspire those around her. |

Hello! My name is Valencia Woodard and I have been ministering in dance roughly 9 years. I have had the opportunity to choreograph NOMBA 3 years in a row and Ohio Baptist General Convention for one. I am passionate about dance and creating a safe space for children to express themselves.

Chynne Bolden is a creative heavyweight & visionary whose goal is to be a fisher of men through God-given seed, and encourages others to do so. Her core mission is to highlight the importance of the woman's relationship amongst she, Jesus & therapy. Through 1:1 talk therapy, dance, various art forms, a license in social work & a Master's degree, Chynne aims to be a witness to living in the light and coming out of dark places.
